Mrs H Poetry

Cold Hard Luck
by Mrs. H

Crunching across the empty field,
Cold whipping across my neck,
Scarfless and red-nosed,
like Rudolph and his pals,
I slide on ice patches,
lose my grip,
topple,
tumble,
and fall.
